C&C Addiction
Ever since the year 2005, my craving for RTS(Real Time Strategy) games has been increasing and increasing steadily over the months and weeks. It all started on a gloomy Tuesday school holiday. I went into the computer room to play something, and instead what i saw was that my sister was playing RA3(Red Alert 3)on the computer. It was an awesome game, with tanks, infantry and big boom-booms. My sister let me see it, and it was an awesome fighting game. Nothing could combat it's awesome graphics and visual effects. Back then, Command and Conquer 2 in the Tiberium series of EA games had just been released.
So thus began my craving for RTS games. At some nights, when i had the bravery, i would sneak down and play RA3 without the sound. All went well until 2007. The disc became so old that it's data became corrupted and corrugated. We couldn't play RA3, so it was a very sad incident. So, later i forgot about EA but i still had fond memories of RA3. My BCN(Brain Control Network) had unaccessed data banks about EA Games, but the data banks were meant to be closed forever. That was, until March 2008. My oldest sister bought The Sims 2 from EA, the same company that made RA3. After i examined the disc cover. The databanks for EA were immediately accessed in the BCN.
1 month later, Command and Conquer 3, Kane's Wrath had just been released. It was again, in the ever popular Tiberium series. No great events that happened lead me to liking of the Tiberium series. Until 2009, another great event happened. The Sims 3 was released. When my father bought it from Japan, the BCN accessed even more databanks regarding EA Games. My mother would not let me play it because they said i was too young. I never knew about the Tiberium Series until June 2010.Yes, that is the current year.We visited my aunt's house and i went to play on their computer, which has some pretty awesome games. Then i saw my older cousin playing this awesome RTS game which happened to be C&C4. Just at the last moment, i asked him what the game was called. He replied.''Command and Conquer 4, Tiberian Twilight.''. When we went home, i torrented it. But soon i found out that C&C4 needed a CD Key to play. I tried downloading different torrents about C&C4, hoping that it would have the CD Key with it, but to no avail. I repeated this process until August, when i realized the only way to play C&C4 was to buy it, fair and square. I asked my older sister, who was in Australia, to buy me these top priority games. The ones that i labeled first are the ones with more priority.
1:Starcraft II:Wings of Liberty
2:Command and Conquer 4, Tiberian Twilight.*
3:H.A.W.X 2
4:Call of Duty 6, Modern Warfare 2.
*This was the game i got.
Anyway, after i got the game, i never knew how addictive it was. 1 month later, in September, I was fully realized C&C4 Pro. I got invited to Ranked PvP's and PvA's. So, after i wanted to know what happened BEFORE C&C4, i did some research on the Scrin, an alien race capable of mind control. The Scrin have insectoid bodies and highly advanced technology. Their forces are made up of bio-mechanical living systems. In easier words, they are half a quarter cybernetic and three quarters and half a quarter insectoid living creature. They were driven off by Catalyst Missiles and Ion Cannon Strikes. So in October(Yes it's this month) that i torrented C&C3, Kane's Wrath. Unlike C&C4, C&C3 Kane's Wrath did not need a CD key. There are many major differences between both of the games and the best part is, you can play as the Scrin!(Thats right, command an army of insectoid creatured with awesome powers. Well, that's all i can post right now.
